詳情請見個人網站http://idv.sinica.edu.tw/chunhung/。我們的工作著重在新藥研發,跨領域研究的範圍涵蓋化學與生物學中多項領域;包括酵素學、醣生物學、合成化學、結構生物學及質譜相關之代謝體。主要的興趣是以化學生物學(chemical biology)的角度,探討與藥物研發息息相關的重要課題,包括感染性的疾病和癌症的致病機轉,腸胃道細菌如何調節免疫及發炎反應。
目前研究的重點有三:
第一:幽門螺旋桿菌(各種胃部疾病的主要致病原)與宿主-胃部表皮細胞之間,互相溝通、對抗的交互作用。
第二:腸胃道細菌如何影響宿主的代謝及免疫作用。
第三:研究免疫細胞的分化與活化,與細胞表面醣分子結構變化之關聯性。
我們除了發表論文於頂尖的國際期刊之外,也致力於發表研究專利,將研究成果應用在生技與製藥產業中。目前已有兩項傑出且具應用價值的成果,包括
