Research

The study on relationship of structure and function of biomolecules is the main theme of our research. The basic techniques used in our studies include NMR, GC-Mass and MS, BIAcore, CD, organic synthesis, cloning, site-directed mutagenesis and other physical methods and chromatographies. At present, our works focus on several topics described as follows:

  • Carbohydrate Chemistry and Glycobiology
  • Drug Discovery and Development from the Secondary metabolites of microorganisms
  • Studies on the structure-functional relationship of proteins and peptides by NMR and X-ray diffraction
  • Proteomic studies
