Congratulations to IBC PIs who have secured funding from AS granting programs

A number of IBC PIs have secured support through the most recent New Infectious Diseases Research and New Biotechnology Research Park Translational funding programs. These include.

Research Fellow Po-Huang Liang, who received New Infectious Diseases Research Project for a project titled ” Development of new drugs against COVID19 and related viral diseases.” Other PIs on this project include: Jiun-Jie Shie (IoC)

Distinguished Research Fellow Todd Lowary, who together with Associate Research Fellow Meng-Chiao Ho received New Infectious Diseases Research Project for a project titled ” Characterization of mycobacteriophages as potential tools for the diagnosis and treatment of mycobacterial diseases” Other PIs on this project include:
Graham F. Hatfull (University of Pittsburgh, Department of Biological Sciences)

Research Fellow Chun-Hung Lin, who secured a New Biotechnology Research Park Translational Project to support a project titled: ” Development of potent and selective inhibitors for targeting galectins-3 and -8 in preclinical trials “. Other PIs on this project include: Yijuang Chern (IBMS), Kuo-I Lin (GRC) and Hung-Lin Chen (IBMS).
