Abstract

Molecular-level characterization of protein higher order structure is a crucial element in understanding the fundamental biological processes and is important in drug discovery in order to guide the design and selection of drug candidate molecules based on their unique mechanism of actions. This talk illustrates the principles and future trends of mass spectrometry-based protein footprinting strategies and their applications on structural characterization of protein complexes from both biological and therapeutic aspects.-Dr. Richard Y.-C. Huang
