Responsibilities

We are seeking passionate, proactive, and responsible Research Assistant/postdoc to join our team in advancing bacteriophage therapy research!

 

【Research Focus and Responsibilities】

Project: Bacteriophage therapy for infectious diseases.

Research Objectives:

  • Study bacteriophage-host interaction
  • Develop broad-spectrum bacteriophages for clinical treatment of mycobacterium and common hospital-acquired infections.

You will learn:

        •    Cryo-EM structural analysis and cryo-tomography of bacteriophages.

        •    Molecular biology and genetic engineering techniques.

        •    Applications in clinical medicine.

Requirements

•    Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Science, Bacteriology related fields.

•    Basic knowledge of molecular biology and microbiology.

•    Experience in microbiology or virology experiments is preferred.

•    Candidates planning to pursue a Master or Ph.D. program in the future are highly desirable.

Conditions

•    Location: Academia Sinica 

•    Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience, in compliance with government regulations.

Bachelor degree: NT$ 38388/month

Master degree: NT$ 44968/month

PhD degree: NT$ 64711/month

This position is subject to the Labor Standards Act.
