Tristetraprolin（TTP）的家族包含三個主要成員，TTP、ZFP36L1和ZFP36L2。它們具有高相似性的RNA結合區，可以與多AU序列的訊息核糖核酸結合來降低訊息RNA的穩定性，我們的研究顯示三個TTP家族成員經由調控特別的目標RNA而參與巨噬細胞的活化和脂肪細胞的分化。訊息RNA降解的第一個步驟是去除3’端的腺苷酸，由PAN2-PAN3和CCR4-NOT這兩類去腺苷酸酶複合體負責；已知TTP可與複合體中的CNOT1結合而導致目標RNA的去腺苷酸和不穩定，我們想進一步探究不同的TTP家族成員如何與CCR4和CAF1這兩種去腺苷酸酶的旁系蛋白作用，而此兩種去腺苷酸酶在複合體中又是如何協調合作，還有TTP 家族蛋白的磷酸化如何影響與腺苷酸酶複合體的結合作用。
